UPDATE: scheduled to remove and reconstruct a section of concrete slab, at grade level, just west of the entrance to the 29 Queen’s Quay parking garage, was again rescheduled to the following week.
29 Queens Quay Parking Garage.
Work continues this week in the mechanical room of the 29 Queens Quay parking garage.
Two supporting columns in the mechanical room are being reinforced to strengthen them, as they are under what will be the southern portion of the podium of the new Phase 3 Tower.
New concrete is being poured, the columns will then be finished, with the forming shown in this picture removed. Once completed, all work related to Phase 3 in the mechanical room will be done.
It is expected that this work will continue through this week and into next week.
We will provide a progress update next week or as soon as we have new information on this work.
Note: There will no work on the site on the Good Friday, March 30
Phase 3 Tower and site work
Construction hoardings and a protected walkway along Queen’s Quay, just north of the Phase 3 tower have been installed.
Concrete activity continues this week:
- Second floor deck pours are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.
There will also be work in the Phase 3 underground levels:
- On level P1 a variety of work continues, inculding:
- Grinding,
- Installation of Light Fixtures,
- Installation of sprinkler pipes, and
- Wiring installation.
- On Level P4:
- The installation of block walls continues.
