UPDATED: Construction Outlook for the week of March 4
29th Floor Concrete Pour
The next slab concrete pour will begin at 7:30 am on Monday, March 4 for the 29th floor.
Concrete pouring will be completed in the afternoon. Concrete finishing will continue through the evening.
The weather forecast for Monday is sunny and cold. Assuming this forecast holds, we expect the concrete pour to go ahead as scheduled. If there is an unexpected weather delay we will post and circulate an update.
The hoist–external elevator–will be raised over the course of the week. Work is set to begin on Monday morning.
Mechanical Room Work – UPDATED
This work has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 6, there will be drilling work to connect the fire alarm systems from the 29 Queens Quay Mechanical Room to Phase 3.
This work is part of the shared services agreement between 29 Queens Quay East and Pier 27 North.
There will be no impact on the 29 Queens Quay systems.
There will be regular deliveries of materials to Pier 27 Phase 3 from Tuesday through Friday.
Through the week, work inside the podium and lower tower levels will continue. This will consist of framing, floor levelling, drywall installation and electrical and plumbing work.
