UTILITIES (SEWER & WATER) WORK
We have just received confirmation late this afternoon that utilities work is set to begin next week on Queen’s Quay. This work will connect Pier 27 Phase 3 to the City of Toronto’s sewer and water systems. The work will continue in stages for the balance of the summer and the early fall. It will impact vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle traffic along Queens Quay East and entry and exit into Pier 27. We will have more details tomorrow, July 12 and will post and circulate the information.
LOOK AHEAD
While concrete work is completed, work on the mechanical penthouse will continue through the summer.
Suites are being framed and drywalled, with drywall work now reaching the 23rd floor and above.
Railing installation has been slowed by weather conditions in recent weeks but continues from the 16th floor and above. It is expected the railing installation will be completed over the next 6 weeks.
Windows for the top floors of the tower have been delivered and will be installed over the next 3 weeks.
