Utilities Servicing Update for Monday July 22, 2019

GFL, the City of Toronto’s contractor for the utilities work (municipal sewer and water) is expected to begin making cuts in the road on Monday. We expect this to have an impact on traffic in the vicinty of Freeland and Queens Quay East, including access to Pier 27.

As noted in our previous posts the utilities work will at times limit access to the shared Pier 27 driveway over the next 8-12 weeks.

Flag people will be on-site to safely direct vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle traffic in and out of the site during construction. Every effort will be made to ensure the least possible inconvenience for pedestrian, bicycle and vehicular traffic.

On behalf of the development and construction team, we thank you for your patience and cooperation in advance.

Saturday Work, July 20

Crews will be on-site Satruday from 9 am working on the interiors of the Phase 3 podium and tower. We do not expect this to have a significant impact.

Look Ahead to the week of July 22

The coming week will see work continue in the lower parking levels, the interior of the podium and tower, as well as finishing work on the mechanical penthouse. We will provide an update next week.
