Utilities Servicing Update
A the request of the City of Toronto, GFL, the contractor for the utilities work (municipal sewer and water), has suspended work until at least next week. We exepct to have a further update by Tuesday afternoon, August 6.
We still expect that utilities work last the next 8-12 weeks. If the past week’s delay has an impact on this approximate scheduling timeframe we will provide an update if and when we have that information.
No Saturday Work, August 3.
There will be no work this Saturday and no work on site over the holiday weekend.
Look Ahead to the week of August 6
Work will resume on site on Tuesday August 6. Exterior wall work continues on the mechanical penthouse level of the tower.
Drywall work on the top level will commence late next week, with attendant deliveries and some crane work to lift up materials.
As was the case this past week, there will be crane work to lift material and supplies to the higher levels of the building that cannot be taken up in the hoist (external service elevator).
Crews will continue to remove and clean the ground floor area of the site of forming and contractor materials. Signifcant progress has been made to-date. Clean up work has to be completed before any landscaping work can begin.
Interior work continues throughout the building from the podium levels through the tower, with suites being worked on up to the 25th floor.
Our next update will be on Wednesday, August 7.
