Contractor GFL is completing the remaining municipal service installations starting this week. Work hours will be between 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
The work program is approximately 4 weeks in duration.
It will not impact the Pier 27 access driveway or the internal roadways.
However, there will be some minor pedestrian and Martin Goodman Trail diversions to accommodate the work.
Of note: the bus stop on the north side of Queens Quay East will be temporarily relocated to the west side of Freeland in mid-May.
Work Schedule Overview
- Week of April 27: Shaft installation on the south side of QQE (east end of the Sales Office)
- May 4-May 15: Pipe installation.
- May 18-22: Wrap up & commissioning.
