January 29 Construction Update for Pier 27 Phase 3

The Phase 3 tower at Pier 27 is visibly beginning to rise above grade with forming and concrete work underway on the ground floor, mezzanine and second levels. Today and this week construction crews at the Phase 3 tower will be pouring concrete in the following areas: South mezzanine level Ground floor level Walls and columns from the ground floor to the second level Please check back with us regularly for further updates.

Our next full construction update for Pier 27 will be posted on Monday, January 29, 2018.  Just to note that concrete work continues on the 2nd floor slab as well as pouring concrete for columns that will support the 3rd floor. Regarding the February 12 power shutdown:  The start time has been shifted to 8 am on Monday, February 12th in response to resident’s feedback. Construction update for the week of January 22, 2018

Work this week at the Pier 27 Phase 3 Tower will pick up from last week with more concrete pouring. Work will continue on the ground floor slabs. There will also be work to pour the ground verticals, the walls and columns of that rise from the ground floor. Work will also begin on the forming and decking of the mezzanine level; the level between ground and 2nd  floors. Update re February 12 Electrical Work & 29 Queen’s Quay Power Shut Down

In response to feedback from resident, the construction management team has revised the start time of the necessary power shut down on February 12th. The power will now be shut off in 29 Queens Quay from 8 am to 10 pm. This shut down is necessary to enable the setup of the permanent power supply for the Pier 27 Phase 3 tower, 15 Queens Quay East. Electrical Work – Power Shut Down February 12

UPDATED On February 12th the power will be shut off in 29 Queens Quay for 14 hours, from 8 am to 10 pm. Construction update for the week of January 8, 2018

Work has resumed on the site of the Pier 27, Phase 3 tower following the Holiday break.  As of the end of year the Parking Level 1 of the tower was 95% complete and work was underway to begin the concrete pours for the ground floor slab and the vertical columns for the second floor of the tower.
