Concrete to go to 8 pm or later tonight
The concrete pump being used today to get concrete to the 20th floor to pour the vertical columns from the 20th floor to the 21st floor has temporarily broken down.
Crews are now using the crane to lift concrete up to the 20th floor. This is unfortunately a much slower process so the work is expected to continue to 8 pm or possibly later.
As this is a continuous concrete pour, work must continue to ensure the structural integrity of the columns.
Every effort will be made to complete the work as quickly as is safely possible.
